Ever-evolving and diversifying my experience, I executed video direction and was the voiceover talent for this instructional video featuring UT Health San Antonio's Temperature Self-Screening Stations.

“Shannon is both sharp and savvy with her approach to Digital. She manages projects with clarity, discipline and strong attention to detail. She is a very fast learner, and has successfully implemented an enterprise level digital strategy for social media. I am proud of the work we have done together.”

-Brandon Scott, VP of Digital for Ten Adams

I’m a versatile yet disciplined creative with over ten years of experience in the digital space. Each day, I oversee all aspects of content production, digital strategy, project management and organizational leadership in both corporate and independent settings.

Born in Georgia and raised in Florida, Puerto Rico and Texas, my personal background is rich in culture and mastering navigation necessary as a biracial individual. I attended Georgia State University straight out of high school and lived in Atlanta for 8 years, at which point I moved to San Antonio, Texas where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Spanish from UTSA. In August of 2022, I completed an MBA at the same university.

My personal interests include writing, reading and traveling- I’m an avid supporter of solo travel and go somewhere new once a year alone. Each year, I set a new reading challenge - this year’s is 50 books. My favorite genre is mystery/thriller and if you’re on GoodReads, we should definitely connect. I’ve recently taken to cycling and currently ride an ‘87 Cannondale road bike. Future plans include upgrading to a Specialized road bike and Trek mountain bike.

Professionally, my aptness lies in problem solving, digital strategy, and leadership. Leading a team in seeing the big picture while maintaining attention to detail on the smaller steps to get there is my specialty. I’ve also taken on public speaking engagements with my debut being the Poppulo Communicators Forum in Dallas, Texas.

My professional background is as diverse as my upbringing and I’m an advocate for others that find themselves in an industry they love but that may not accept them as they are. I believe that you do not have to be loud to be heard. Instead, you have to act. Do what you do well and be authentic. People will listen and inclusivity will expand.
