  • What is a Notary Public?

    A Notary Public is an impartial officer commissioned by the State to help prevent fraud by verifying identities, witnessing signatures, and administering oaths. In Georgia, notaries are appointed by the Clerk of Superior Court and governed by O.C.G.A. § 45-17-8.

    What is a Notarization?

    A notarization—or notarial act—includes:

    • Certifying copies (originals only, not public records)

    Can I Visit an Office?

    I operate exclusively as a mobile notary, bringing services directly to you—your home, office, or a public location (e.g., library, coffee shop).

    Can You Notarize Without the Signer Present?

    No. Georgia law requires the signer to be physically present at the time of notarization.

    What Is an Oath or Affirmation?

    • Oath – A solemn promise to a higher power

    • Affirmation – A personal promise of honesty
